1. One of the simplest and most inexpensive things you can do is rearrange your furniture. Just by changing up where things are located in a room will make the room feel different.
2. Go outside and explore your yard for beautiful flowers or shrubs to arrange into a vase. Flowers can add instant color to any room. Cut them at different heights to draw your eye up.
3. Have a glass cabinet that needs some pizazz? Add layers to the inside and leave the doors open. Hang different size pictures on the back wall of the cabinet then add layers of colorful accessories and books grouped together.
4. Use a large colorful throw even in the summer for a color splash.
5. Have a large wall your just not sure what to do with. We like to fill empty wall space with groupings of color filled photographs in white or black frames that you can buy at your local craft store for cheap. Photos can be found at rummage sales, flea markets or grab your own camera and see what you can come up with.
6. Bright colored planters with plants from a similar color family will add a spark to your front porch or sun room.
7. Repurpose your old dishes by adding clear plates and graphic fabric. When you use the white as a base add the fabric then lay your clear on top it is a neat trick to bring your table to life.
8. Now most people are scared to add color to their walls but it is so easy and if you don't like it you can change it. If the color seems to bright add a touch of brown paint to tone it down.
9. Only have a few extra hours to spend on your home? Why not paint your front door? Be sure to use exterior paint and choose a vibrant color to match all the beautiful flowers and birds outside. It can be done in just an afternoon
